While many Bollywood celebrities shield their children from the constant glare of the media, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, Genelia Deshmukh, have adopted a different approach. They allow their sons, Riaan and Rahyl, to interact with the paparazzi.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Riteish Deshmukh shared his views on the paparazzi culture and how he educates his children about it. He explained that his sons are actively involved in sports and spend a considerable amount of time outdoors. Consequently, the paparazzi often photograph them during their activities.
Deshmukh believes that this exposure presents a valuable opportunity for his children to learn humility. He said, "The only thing I tell my sons is, ‘Getting clicked is an honour. When the paps ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on.'"
He emphasizes the importance of teaching children to avoid developing a sense of entitlement. He underscores that there isn't a single, correct method for parenting, particularly in the public sphere. He respects the choices of parents who prefer to keep their children away from media attention. "Just because one person does something doesn’t mean others have to do the same. I think parents know what’s best for their children. If people feel they don’t want their kids to be in the media, it should be respected," he stated.
Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Shreyas Talpade, and Johny Lever.
