Following the recent launch of the iQoo Z9, rumors are swirling about a new, more powerful "Turbo" version. Leaks have begun to emerge, offering a glimpse into the potential specifications of this unannounced smartphone.
A recent post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed some key details about the iQoo Z9 Turbo. According to the leak, the phone is expected to feature a 1.5K display. Powering the device will likely be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with a substantial 6000mAh battery.
Additional leaks suggest a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for the display, along with a 50MP dual camera setup for photography. The device is also tipped to support 80W fast charging.
While iQoo has yet to officially confirm the existence of the Z9 Turbo or announce a launch date, industry observers anticipate an unveiling in the coming weeks.
For context, iQoo recently launched the Z9 5G, with a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the base model featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It's available in two colors: Graphene Blue and Brushed Green.
The iQoo Z9 5G boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits of peak brightness, and DT-Star2 Plus Glass protection. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with a Mali G610 GPU.
The device offers 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB, with a microSD card slot for further expansion. It operates on the Android 14 operating system with FunTouch OS14.
